New Website Update!
The Bore Up upgrade will both increase power and torque at similar rates.
Bore Up
Bore Up S
Stroke Up both increased power and torque. Torque is increased more compared to power, as well as reduces redline RPM.
Stroke Up
Stroke Up S
Engine Balance Tuning favours increasing power, rather than torque. The RPM limit increases the most than other upgrades, equally as Titanium Connecting Rods & Pistons.
Engine Balance Tuning
Polished Ports slightly increases power and torque.
Polish Ports
An upgraded High Lift Camshaft only increases power and raises the RPM limit. With this upgrade, torque can be slightly reduced, not altered or slightly increased.

High Lift Camshaft S
Titanium Connecting Rods & Pistons, both increases power and the RPM limit the most by all other upgrades. Torque is slightly reduced, not altered or slightly increased with this upgrade.
Titanium Connecting Rods & Pistons
The Racing Crank Shaft upgrade, slightly increases power and the RPM limit. Torque is slightly reduced, not altered or slightly increased with this upgrade.
Racing Crank Shaft
The upgrade, High Compression Piston will both increase power and torque, with power increasing slightly more compared to torque in most cases.
High Compression Piston
Balancing between power and torque upgrades is the key to great performance. There are lots of upgrades that do not increase torque as much as power. A car lacking torque will always not accelerate as fast compared to a vehicle that has been tuned for torque. If a car has only been tuned for power then all performance will only be at peak power RPM. Whereas torque will aid in acceleration throughout the RPM range. For this reason the following upgrades should be considered:
Bore Up
Bore Up S
Stroke Up
Stroke Up S
Polish Ports
High Compression Piston
An in-depth analysis has be given regarding these upgrades in Engine Upgrades Overview.
