Transmission

The Transmission's job is to keep the revs at peak power for as long as possible.

• Fully Customisable: Manual

• Fully Customisable: Racing

A transmission that does not fully utilise the engine power and torque curves bleeds performance. All transmissions apart from the Fully Customisable Racing transmission will simulate a gear shifts if you were shifting with a conventional manual transmission and foot clutch.  You maybe tempted by the manual shifting transmission, however the time needed to complete a shift is time where engine revs will drop out of optimum range, thus decreasing the acceleration rate.

For any normal Performance Point (PP) racing application the Fully Customisable Racing transmission is the best choice for overall performance. In specific scenarios, a Fully Customisable Manual transmission will best fit the vehicle, such as down tuning high PP racing cars to into lower PP categories (e.g. fitting the Fully Customisable Manual transmission into the Red Bull X2019 to get it into 800PP)
